Hive to Table Main Event
Join us for the main Hive to Table event LIVE on Saturday, August 29th, at 5:00pm (PST).
We will kick off with a welcome and cocktail demo with Sarah from BGO HQ in Ashland, Oregon (more details and a cocktail recipe to make at home here).
Then you will be handed over to musician Peter Harper for a concert from Los Angeles to your living room! (Plus a couple of special guests)
Then we will close the auction and "bee" ever so thankful for your attendance!
We are planning on Saturday's event taking about an hour, but maybe longer if we're having too much fun!
Adventures in Dirt and Honey
A talk from Sarah about the bees in our worlds, the issues they face, and exactly what BGO is doing about it.
Attend this event to learn a little bit about a whole lot! Bee biology, beekeeping, and BGO's programs focused on education and conservation: Kids and Bees, Regenerative Bee Pasture, Bee Friendly Vineyards, and the ODOT Pollinator Project.
Will she address "Murder Hornets"? You'll just have to attend and find out on Wednesdsay, August 26th at 12pm (PST).
Your Daily Dose of Honey
A cooking class with Sarah and our Hive to Table co-host and chef, Kristen Lyon of the Jefferson Farm Kitchen.
What do you do with honey? Slather it on toast and put it in your tea? Chef Kristen has created a few timely recipes to help you get more honey in your diet, and support your local farmers and beekeepers!
Sarah will "bee" along to rattle off a few facts about honey, and taste-test Kristen's food!
